How I actually improved my scores

A few things that moved the needle for me after a rough start. First, record with your camera on even when it feels awkward, the no camera penalty is real and reviewers can tell when you are not looking at anything. Second, stop trying to memorize a perfect answer word for word, it makes you sound robotic when you get nervous. Third, use the feedback from each match before jumping into the next one instead of grinding blindly. I went from Wood to Platinum in about six weeks doing this.

The camera tip is underrated, I resisted it for a while and my scores jumped once I turned it on.

Six weeks is impressive, how many matches a day were you doing roughly?

Usually two or three, sometimes more on weekends. Consistency mattered more than volume for me.
