Common questions

What is the daily interview question?
A new behavioural interview question published every day at midnight UTC. You type an answer, get it scored on structure, specifics, ownership, outcome and concision within seconds, then get one rewrite to act on the feedback.
Is it free?
Yes, and it needs no account. Anyone can answer the daily question and see their full scored breakdown. An account is only needed to keep a streak and to enter the leaderboard.
Do I need a webcam or microphone?
No. The daily question is typed. You can dictate your answer using your browser's speech recognition if you prefer to practise out loud, but nothing is recorded or uploaded.
How is my answer scored?
Deterministically, against six measures: STAR structure, specificity, ownership, whether you state an outcome, concision, and coverage of the points the question is really asking about. The same answer always gets the same score, which is what keeps the daily leaderboard fair.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your streak resets, but every past question stays playable in the archive. Replaying an old question never affects your streak or the leaderboard.

Scoring is deterministic: the same answer always gets the same result, so the daily ranking is fair. It measures the shape of an answer — structure, specifics, ownership, outcome — not whether the story itself is a good one.
